Yeah, we all know Sarkodie is great. His rap skills and numerous awards are all there to see. But to get an endorsement from a musician who many believed to be the greatest High-life musician of all time truly means something.
We are talking about Nana Kwame Ampadu. The High-life legend, who is often called King of Music,
Nana Kwame Ampadu in an interview on Kofi TV, revealed that he din’t think much on on whom he should settle on his next album. Thus he reached out to Sarkodie and he did respond positively.
He said:
The moment he stepped into the studio, I told him I have left some vacuum in the song for him to fill with his own lyrics.
To my surprise, after listening to the song in minutes interval he was able to deliver on it and I enjoyed it with accompanying clap by myself.
Ampadu also revealed that he recorded two songs with Sarkodie earlier but because of ailment, the release was delayed.
