Following the success of My Own which won him an award  at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, veteran Dancehall/Reggae artiste, Samini has decided to concentrate wholly on the Reggae genre to propel his image, according to his music producer Quick Action

The veteran musician has in the past experimented with lots of genres like Hip-life, Afro-hop, Dancehall and Reggae but now wants to stick to only Reggae in a bid to rediscover his identity.

Quick Action, in a chat with komfaonline.com, revealed that he’s working with Samini to bring out serious reggae tracks that will get him recognition worldwide.

The renowned music producer, encouraged some time ago on TV3 news that Samini should bounce back to reggae music and forget Dancehall so he could be recognized again.

He said:

Oh yeah,yes I predicted last year on TV3 entertainment news, and I said it ,I ,Quick Action said it live on Tv that Samini should forget Dancehall and concentrate on reggae music and he will definitely bounce back to number one and year after he took an award with a reggae song MY OWN, this means musically I, Quick Action know Samini well.

Quick Action has been producing Samini for many years which has seen the latter scooping several awards as result which includes MOBO Award, Black Entertainment Award in UK and VGMA best Reggae song all in 2006 .
