Hollywood’s Forever Cemetary, home to over 200 dead celebrities has experienced it shocking rush for grave plots since it inception. Rich people living in hollywood have trooped in to buy grave plots worth millions of dollars near their favourite celebrities and the VIP section of the cemetary due to the coronavirus pandemic which has claimed millions of lives around the world within a short period of time.

Co-Founder of the cemetary, Yogu Kanthiah, said “Never seen anything like this before. It’s crazy”. According to Kanthiah customers have sent in large amount of money, ordering their pre-death grave plots.

“It’s similar to people going to Costco — they don’t need all the toilet paper and sanitizer, but they’re buying it anyway,” Kanthiah said.

According to media reports, current rates for cremation at Hollywood Forever near legends like Judy Garland or punk god Johnny Ramone, is expensive. Example is a crypt in the grave yard which costs around $7,000 and balloons to $19,000 for a prime position in the cemetery’s VIP section along the lakeside property, named Garden of Legends. Interesting thing about the cemetary is that most of preferred grave slots near popular celebrities have been sold out.
