Big Brother Naija season 5 winner Laycon has received a lot of acknowledgement from most Nigerians concerning his write up about Afrobeat singer Davido which was featured in the 2021 edition of the Time Next 100 magazine.

He said Davido is now accepted in the world stage as a top musician because of his influence in the Afrobeat genre as top American stars like Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Lil Baby etc all wants to work with him.

Laycon also stated the work rate of Davido is exceptional as he puts in a 100% effort in his songs. He added that effort can be seen as the singer’s 2020 album duded ‘A Good Time’ surpassed one billion streams on various musical platforms.
