American rapper Benny The Butcher was shot over the weekend in an attempted robbery in Houston.

The police says the incident took place on Saturday evening when Benny and some friends went shopping at a Walmart located on South Rice Avenue.
They say some guys approached them and requested their belongings, and when they refused to give to them, one of the armed guys shot the rapper in the leg.
The police confirmed the rapper is not ‘fighting for his’ as he was transported to a near-by hospital.
