Miss Seyitan Babatayo, has formally filed a criminal complaint against D’banj to Nigerian Police Force weeks after accusing the musician of raping her.
Seyitan, who is said to be a stylish blogger, accused the singer of raping her in a hotel room in Lagos in 2018.
She said in a statement on Tuesday that she had filed a criminal complaint at the Gender Desk of Lagos Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja on 22 June.
Seyitan also revealed how she was unlawfully arrested and tortured. According to her, she was detained in a cell for 48 hours, like a criminal at Harold Sodipo Police Station in Ikeja.
