eNCA understands the millionaire Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Mary Bushiri planned their escape and snuck through the Beit Bridge Border post.
It’s alleged that the couple paid officials at the border post to make their way to Malawi since they feared for their lives. Meanwhile, reporting reaching eNCA is that Shepherd Bushiri sent his children home to Malawi after they were granted bail.
The government has begun the process to extradite the couple, who are charged with fraud and money laundering.
