Our eyes could have filled with tears and our ears filled with bad news on Sunday evening if Kwame Tutu, the morning show host of Frontline on Rainbow Radio and the host of Face The Nation on DTV1 was pronounced dead.
One of Ghana’s finest brain on Radio Kwame Tutu had a gruesome accident on the Aburi – Ayi Mensah road, in the Eastern Region on his way to Accra on Sunday evening.
A report has it that Kwame Tutu and a lady friend were descending from Aburi towards Ayi Mensah on Sunday 21st October between 7:30 – 8: 00 PM when the near-death accident occurred.

On a news item sighted on ghpage, Kwame Tutu explained that he lost the use of the brakes of his car at the first curved from Aburi and in an attempt to control the car, it somersaulted after it hit a mountain sitting on the road.
‘After the car landed on its back, he managed to pull himself out of the car and helped the other passenger out. Luckily for them, they sustained only minor injuries to themselves but the car was completely destroyed,’ he said.
The ‘keep Ghana clean’ campaigner Kwame Tutu has recently launched one of his own dubbed “CleanGhanaNow”.
