Death has laid its icy hands on Chief P. O Ogbuawa in the most awkward way, leaving scores of people including close friends and family members wailing in anguish.

Naijapals.com reports that , Chief P. O. Ogbuawa, met his untimely death when he slipped and fell on his bathroom floor. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Chief Ogbuawa hails from Oraeri, where he was actively involved in the life of the people in the area. At Nnewichi Nnewi where he lived, the Chief tarred roads, built estates, provided pipe borne water and installed street lights.

Ogbuawa is a household name not just in Nnewi but in Nigeria and Africa, most of the children living in Nnewi have been named after him because of his selfless way of living.
Earlier reports gathered states that the chief was already battling some health issues so when he fell, he was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment but couldn’t make it back home alive.

His name and impact will never be forgotten in Nnewi and Anambra State. As the news of Ogbuawa’s passing hit Nnewi, many expressed huge shock and silence pervaded the town in respect of the great man.
