Police Officer Dies After A Vehicle Attack A Capitol Building

At least one police officer is pronounced died after a suspect attacked some police officers at the Capitol building with his car.

Reports says the support drove through the barriers set around the building to attack some police officers who were stationed at the place.

It is revealed the suspect after knocking down two police officers with his car came out and started walking towards the police officers with a knife in his hand. He was shot to death after he refused to obey some verbal command by the police.

Remember the Capitol building is now mostly surrounded by some barriers after former president Donald Trump supporters invaded the monument back in January this year.

In a press briefing by Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman, She revealed one of the two injured police officers has suddenly passed away after they both was sent into two different hospitals;

He did not respond to verbal commands. The suspect did start lunging toward U.S. Capitol Police officers, at which time U.S. Capitol Police officers fired upon the suspect. The suspect has been pronounced deceased. Two U.S. Capitol Police officers were transported to two different hospitals, and it is with a very, very heavy heart that I announce [one of the] officers has succumbed to his injuries.”
