The Eastern Regional Police Command has apprehended the suspect behind the death of one Believe Sak itey, a 25-year-old lady in the guest house at Somanya.

Recall. ghgossip.com reported the death of the young lady which was caused by the man who was identified as Charles Tetteh at a guest house at Somanya.

According to the Director of the Guest House, the lady and the suspect lodged into the guest house but were supposed to leave at exactly 12 noon the next day.

According to him, the two were not seen coming out of their room so the worker at the reception decided to check up on them to prompt them.

Upon arrival at the entrance, the worker realized that the door was locked and so he forced his way in, only to find the lady lying in a pool of blood dead.

However, Charles Tetteh was nowhere to be found as it was believed he committed the crime and fled the scene. Charles was said to have stabbed the lady with a knife and hid it under the mattress.

Subsequently, the police invited family members including the husband of the deceased to the Somanya District Police to assist in getting relevant information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect came along and was pointed out by the worker as the man who came in to lodge with the lady in the guest house.

Apparently, the name Charles Tetteh was a false name used by the suspect in order to hide his real identity, according to the investigation.

The suspect, whose original name is Prosper Negble, is currently in police custody assisting the investigation and if found guilty, will be arraigned before the court.

Also, the motive behind the gruesome murder is yet to be known.
