Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II celebrated his 70th birthday anniversary with a ‘low-key’ party amid coronavirus pandemic at his home in Kumasi on Wednesday.

The King born on May 6 became the occupant of the Golden Stool in 1999 following the demise of Otumfuo Opoku Ware II.

Born Nana Barima Kwaku Duah, Otumfuo Osei Tutu has successfully made himself an emblem of leadership.

Clad in white, the Asantehene has been seen celebrating his birthday with some family members, friends and loved ones.
