The singer said she is not happy whenever she hears about divorce going on within the gospel fraternity. Her comments is probably in reaction to the collapse of Joyce Blessing’s marriage recently.

“I’m not happy when I hear that my colleagues are being divorced and my heart bleeds. But I can’t be quick to judge because every marriage is unique. Everyone and what they go through so I don’t know what is happening in someone’s marriage,” she told Amansan Krakye on Radio Central in an interview.

Continuing, she said: “But I feel s ad that it happened that way because even if you’re not a gospel artiste, divorce isn’t something which is pleasing to God. So when there is a divorce it is not something to be taken lightly.

As for me Philipa I’m not happy about it. But as I said earlier I can’t judge because I don’t know what is happening. What I want to say is that we should not expose everything about our private life on social media.

Sometimes as celebrities we put everything about our lives in the public domain. So this is a little advice that I will give to my colleagues that they should be careful because it can happen to anybody,” she concluded.

In a nutshell, she asked people not mock someone going through the traumatic experience of divorce because you don’t know what might be your fate tomorrow.
