Patapaa is doing well in the industry, contrary to the widespread belief that his career will plummet because he is empty lyrically. His eye-catching performance at the just ended Ghana Meets Naija concert testifies to that.
Perhaps, it’s for this reason that his ego has bloated; he said any song he features on becomes a hit, perhaps even when he coughs therefore he deserves to be crowned the Artiste of the Year.
He revealed this in an interview with Muse Africa in an exclusive interview.

He said:
I have worked with Mr Eazi, Article (Wan), Medikal and all the songs that came out are hits.
