Recording Artiste, Patapaa has lamented how the ill-governance of the Akufo Addo-led government has destroyed the lives of many in the country and continues to do so without any checks.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Patapaa’s great concern was the disruption of electrical power in the country, popularly known as “Dumsor”.

According to the hitmaker, the government has done its best to provide prepaid meters for citizens which we are supposed to buy credit in order to get access to electricity.

Patapaa said that he sees no essence in having one of these meters when the electricity company is not doing its job well to provide electricity for citizens at all times.

He also lamented how the situation is causing harm in so many sectors in the country, especially with the health sector.

He cited an example that doctors might be performing surgery on a patient and then suddenly, the power goes off, he said that the probability of the patient loosing his life is very high.

Patapaa believes that the country indeed needs to be fixed hence joining the campaign to urge the government to attend to matters before it becomes too late.

Apart from Patapaa, some other celebrities have also joined the campaign to get the country fixed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service through a communique has revealed that it still has a restraining order to prevent the #FixTheCountry conveners to protesting on the street.
