Multiple award-winning artiste, Shatta Wale has asked Ghanaians to stop mocking him over his inability to win the topmost award; which is the Artiste of the Year, at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Shatta Wale’s confidence was sky-high following an impressive ‘season’ he had under the year in review. Unfortunately for him, the late Ebony Reigns beat him to the coveted price and instantly internet trolls started their ‘thing.’
Reacting to the trolls on social media, Shatta Wale indicated that awards do not bring him money and therefore he will never give it a priority in his life and business.
He asked Ghanaians to put a stop to the needless comparison and work towards making the industry better.
