There was mild drama which claimed the life of one person and left other two injured at the reunion ceremony of the 279 abducted schoolgirls in Jangebe on Wednesday, March 3.

It was learnt that the military officers opened fire on distressed parents who were anxiously waiting to reunite with their children. According to reports, it turned out bloody after angry parents tempered with the proceedings to hug their children and reunite with them.

The moment of chaos led to the firing of gunshots which killed one person and injured two others persons who have been rushed to the hospital to receive medical attention.

For now, the security operatives and the state government haven’t reacted to the sad incident yet.
