The crazy One Corner has reportedly killed two people at Ntotroso, a mining town in the Asutifi North District of Brong-Ahafo Region.
The accident, according to a GNA report, occurred around midnight on Tuesday. The two were on the motorbike dancing to the tune when their bike skid off the road and crashed into a structure.
Reacting to this, Ghanaian actress and social commentator Lydia Forson has said people should stop blaming or criticizing Patapaa for the irresponsible manner by which people respond to the song.
The bubbly actress, who recently granted an interview with the BBC and highlighted sekzual harassment in Ghana’s movie industry, told Doreen Andoh that people have to be a bit ‘responsible’ to avoid further accidents in relation to the song.
She said:
It’s not fair to blame this guy for the irresponsible behaviours of people.
What started as a social media trend has now spiraled out of control, with people from all walks doing insane stuffs once the song drops. It’s has even reached some other West Africa countries, notably Nigeria.
