In an interview on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After Drive Show, Akesse Brimpong slammed the claims that churches like to call on gospel artistes to come and perform at events and do not pay them.
He added that no pastor can come to any artiste’s house and drag them to an event if they do not wish to go.
“It will depend on how the musicians carry themselves. If they express interest in having you and you have a management team or you have Credit Default Swap(CDS) laid down about how people engage you, nobody will take you for granted”, he said.

“You are the gift. If you have ways of operation, nobody will come and carry you from your home to go and sing somewhere if you don’t want to go”
He urged that musicians should have laid out rules, and then no pastor will be able to pull them to events and say ‘God bless you’.
