Fante rapper, Teephlow has started blowing his own trumpet in the build up to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The Warning rapper has been nominated alongside Strongman, Eno Barony, and host of other rap artistes in the Best Rapper of the Year category to which he believes he’s the only person who deserves it.
In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central’s Drive Show, the rapper said he should be the only recipient of the award because no one raps better than him.
He said:
This is not about me boasting or bragging, I need to pick that award, no one in that category raps better than me. Go and listen to my song Phlowducation and you will know why.
Teephlow received three nominations in the upcoming 2018 VGMA including Record of the Year, Rapper of the Year and Hip Pop Song of the Year.
