The Member of Parliament for Ningo–Prampram, Sam Nartey George has received tons of praise from some Nigerian citizens after his attack on the UK legislator over the Lesbian Gay Bisexual transgender bill.
For some days now, the member of parliament Sam George has been in the news for many reasons. Sam George has clashed with some celebrities in Ghana like Sister Debbie, Kubolor, Kwadwo Sheldon, Lydia Forson, and Pappy Kojo over the passing of the LGBT bill.

A draft anti-gay legislation has been submitted to Ghana’s parliament which proposes up to 10 years in jail for LGBTQ+ people as well as groups and individuals who advocate for their rights, express sympathy, or offer social or medical support.
On Friday, Sam Nartey George, an MP who has described gay rights as a “perversion” and led a group of lawmakers who drafted the bill, dismissed online condemnation of the bill as “uninformed”.
The international community has started reacting to the Bill. One of such persons Seb Dance, a former UK Legislator who challenged the bill and had a verbal confrontation with the Ningo Prampram MP Sam George on Twitter.
Many Nigerians have applauded Sam George for his bold actions and how he verbally confronted the UK Legislator over the LGBT Bill.
