Bovi happens to one of my favourite comedians. His infectious smiles and rib cracking jokes always make my day. He has come to Ghana on few occasions for the famous Night of 1000 Laughs comedy series. He has lived up to expectations on all those occasions.
Back in Nigeria, he is really adored but a recent joke he passed on Banky W and Adesua’s marriage has caused outrage amongst a section of the public.
In his Man on Fire Show, Bovi said that Banky W should fix the spelling of marry which he spelt as ‘maary’ because marriage is a very serious thing so mistakes should not be accepted at the beginning.
This certainly did not go down well with BankyW and Adesua’s fans to the extent a lady took it so personal that she called Bovi so much names even ‘a bastard’, this he replied ‘God bless you’ to.
Many have demanded an immediate apology from the comedian but instead, he told them to ‘eat ****’ since they have refused to understand his joke.
Adesua and Banky W are yet to respond to this issue tho!
