Shatta Wale has proven times without number that he’s a very brilliant and strategic musician and that explains why he remains Ghana’s biggest artiste currently.

He knows what to do to stay relevant and consistent. Following his viral banter with the President which culminated in an official invitation to the Flagstaff house, Shatta Wale says he doesn’t want Ghanaian journalists and bloggers to refer to him as ‘self-acclaimed Dancehall King.’

Soon after his visit to Nana Akuffo-Addo, the President posted: “The “Dancehall King”, Shatta Wale, was at the Presidency this afternoon to pay me a visit, after I extended an invitation to him, on his birthday….”

Speaking to Jerry Justice of Adom FM, the Hosanna hitmaker says a whole a President has endorsed him as the Dancehall King, then all media houses should do likewise and added jovially that failure to do so would have one arrested.

Shatta Wale said:

It has never happened before. I am now working like a President. The President has confirmed that the Dancehall King is me. You have to respect the law. If you don’t call me you will be arrested.
