The president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Adoo Dankwah Akufo-Addo on behalf of the country has donated an amount of 330,000 Dollars to the entire Black Satellites team after winning the Under-20 African Championship.

The Satellites won Ghana’s 4th U-20 African championship after beating their Ugandan counterparts by two goals to nothing at the just ended championship which was held in Mauritania. The also makes Ghana one of the four countries who will represent Africa in the U20 World Championship with will come off this year.
The donation was made after the team and their officials presenter the trophy to the president at the Jubilee House couple of moments ago. The president out of his pockets also gifted midfielder Issahaku, goalkeeper Danlad, captain Afriyie Barnieh and head Coach Karim Zito $5000 each for their awesome performance at the tournament.
