Nadia Buari is a Ghallywood actress born on 21st November 1982 at Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana to a Lebanese father and as a Ghanaian mother.

Early life

Born in Sekondi-Takoradi to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother. Her mother later got married to renowned Ghanaian movie producer, Alhaji Sidiku Buari.

Education

She attended Mfantsiman Girl’s Secondary School and later went to the University of Ghana where she studied BFA degree. She participated in the drama and danced club in her both secondary and tertiary school.

Career

In 2015, Nadia Buari featured in her first TV series ”Games People Play”. She came to the limelight after she was featured in the movie ‘Mummy’s Daughter’ and Beyonce.

After gaining popularity, she came out with her own movie called ”The Diary Of Imogene Brown”.

In 2008, Nadia Buari made her way through to Nollywood. The movie Beyonce & Rihanna was her breakthrough movie in the Nollywood industry. Other notable movies she starred were also Rough Rider, Beauty and the Beast, Holding Hope and Single and Married.

Nominations and Awards

In 2009, Nadia Buari received nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.
