Ace female musician, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, popularly known in music circles as Mzbel has descended on the member of parliament re[resenting Assin-Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong over his comment about Nigel Giaisie’s rape saga.
During a broadcast on Net2 TV, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said that Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang intervened in the rape saga and begged Mzbel not to pursue the rape case against Nigel Gaisie.
According to the politician, Mzbel had intended to legally deal with the matter but she had to boycott it after Prof Jane Naana begged her.
Reacting to his comment, Mzbel said that the maverick lied about whatever he said but he was misled by the Daily Guide who was the first to publish the news.
She claimed that she has never met or spoken to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, adding that the case was discussed by men.
She went on to swear by her mother’s grave and her womb that she should face any consequence if she is lying.
