In an interview with blogger and radio personality, Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, the “Ayoo” crooner said that his comment was not directed at only Reggie Rockstone but all Ghanaian musicians.

He said that Ghanaian celebrities are leading fake lives on social media but in reality, none of them is rich as they claim, including himself.

He said Ghanaian musicians often pretend they are rich which not true which is why the government doesn’t improve the sector and turn around to tax them too.

He explained himself by saying; “I went to UTV and said we are poor and I was asked by the hostess if Reggie is poor and I said he is poor. I am not saying Reggie Rockstone is poor and I want to meet Reggie Rockstone and even explain that thing to him that if I say that, I’m saying it for all of us because we have painted a certain picture to this our leaders that we are too okay and that is what is affecting us”

.

“GRA (Ghana Revenue Authority) has sent me a huge sum of money to pay as tax. It’s because of the way we are carrying ourselves in this industry that is why we are getting things like this. I didn’t get any letter from GRA when I was hustling and poor and living in Nima but as soon as I became Shatta Wale, GRA has sent me a letter” he added.
