Rapper Eno has disclosed on the Delay Show that until recently, her dad didn’t support her idea of doing hiphop music. According to her, her dad wanted her to do Gospel music and not hiphop and so that made him not to support her.
Speaking on some of the challenges she faced as a musician, she said, “My dad didn’t like the idea of me doing hiphop. Because I started singing in Church when I was a child, he wanted me to do Gospel Music rather than hiphop or me being a rapper”
When asked whether till now his dad still doesn’t support her, she said, “He gave me his support just some 2 years ago”
On whether she thinks she has reached, she said, “I’ve not reached anywhere in my career. The road hasn’t been easy, but I think it’s getting better now. Even with sales, the singers do better than us the rappers, but it’s getting better.
Eno is one of the baddest female rappers we have here in GH.
