Ohemaa Mercy is a true embodiment of a business oriented musician. As far as I’m concerned she is the only gospel musician whose persona in the musical industry makes her distinctive.
The songstress, according to report has opened a multi-purpose music studio in the capital, Accra together with Royalty Music Group, (RMG).
The studio, known as Royalty Music Studio, is an imposing-contemporary building that is built for live recordings and other –related activities in the production of music.
Mr. Isaac Twum-Ampofo who doubles as the husband of Ohema Mercy and the CEO of Royalty Music Group, made it clear that the studio is also opened to all musicians for their rehearsal needs.
Apart from the music studio, the Group is also planning to open an online radio and TV purposely to promote Ghanaian gospel music. Some of the ‘heavyweights’ gospel musicians were in attendance to offer their unflinching support. They include OJ, SP Kofi Sarpong, Diana Hamilton, Opiesie Esther, Patience Nyarko, Abena Ruthy, Mabel Okyere, Francis Amo and others.OJ and Diana Hamilton DSP Kofi Sarpong.
