Versatile German-Cameroonian singer and songwriter, T’neeya comes through with a classic piece of music labeled; “Text Me” produced by Mr Kleb.
The song owes mixing and mastering credit to STG Prodigy. “Text Me” was released under the imprint of Aristokrat Records, a Nigerian record label owned by The Aristokrat Group.
T’neeya, officially known as Jennifer Tania Takoh moved to Ghana in 2017 due to what she describes as “curiosity”. “I had to see more of Africa and Ghana happened to be the next stop,” she says.
T’neeya has released beautiful Afropop covers to songs such as; Mr Eazi’s ‘Pour Me Water’ and R2bees and Wizkid’s ‘Tonight’, among others.
She has also collaborated with artistes such as Mr.Eazi, Amaarae, Kel P, Telz, Odunsi, Kida Kudz, Toni Hauschild, Ace Tee, just to mention a few. T’neeya performs in Pidgin, English and French.
According to her, she draws inspiration from Manu Dibango, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah and 2Baba.
