Award winning Nigerian afrobeats singer and “Kukere” hit-maker, D’Banj shares a brand new beautiful song labeled; “Banga”.
This latest banging tune happens to be the official follow up to his recent project, “Ikebe” which was released January this year and has 681,000 streams on Audiomack.
Officially called D’banj, he adopted the stage name D’banj, a combination of his first name, Dapo and his surname, Oyebanjo. He’s known internationally for his chart topping hit song “Oliver Twist” which was released in 2012.
D’Banj has won several music awards, including; Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, artiste of the year at the MTV Africa Music Awards, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, best-selling African artiste at the 2014 World Music Awards among others.
D’Banj is set release a new album titled “Ikebe” this year. “Banga” is to whet the appetite for more music.
