Buhari’s health and subsequent death was the subject of many prophecies by famous pastors in Ghana and Nigeria. Pastor Owusu Bempah for instance predicted that in 2017, the Nigerian leader could join his ancestors.
Presently Buhari is in the United Kingdom on a sick leave for two weeks now and many are already fearing the prophecy could be fulfilled. The 74-year old wrote to parliament yesterday February 5, asking for extension to his leave thereby creating more room for suspicion.
“President Buhari has written to the National Assembly today, February 5, 2017, informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of series of tests recommended by his doctors,” his office said in a statement. His aids and spokesperson have dispelled rumours that the president is in any precarious state. Many Nigerians are not happy about the lack of transparency surrounding his health.
Mohammadu Buhari’s administration is in serious jeopardy, with his economy in its lowest ebb in the last 25 years. This was one of the reasons why iconic music star 2face Idibia wanted to embarked on mass protest with his supporters which was cancelled at the eleventh hour.
