The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has suggested that Mercy Johnson live her life on Instagram that’s why the Guild did not visit her when she gave birth but rather visited Regina Daniels when she welcomed her newborn baby.
He made the clarification when he was speaking to Kemifilani News in an interview while stressing that it’s not every Nigerian actor who is part of the Guild so the criticisms they received when they visited Reg ina Daniels and snubbed Mercy Johnson is unjustifiable.
Some of them are not members and they take pride in criticizing the guild. The last time we had such an issue, the national public relations officer, Monalisa Chinda, gave a response. If you want to be a member, join us. Don’t just criticize us. If the criticism is in good faith, we would make amends. With good criticism, we will go far. We don’t have to take issues with anybody. You cannot be in the industry and refuse to join the relevant bodies. It is an aberration. However, we will keep creating awareness and talking to our people,’ Emeka said.
