Being rude or arrogant (we have to use these two words interchangeably here) is a typical human trait notwithstanding status or background although admittedly, those on the highest pedestal of life tend to possess this bad attitude in abundance.
Hence, it’s not surprising that artistes we adore and jam to their music tend to look down on people from all walks of life (including their own fans).
This listicle throws a cursory light on such artistes. In fact these artistes themselves know they are arrogant and have on many occasions tried in vain to change people’s perception about who they are, yet their actions always betray them.
#1. Tinny
Tinny is arguably one of the finest GH rappers of all time. However his arrogance has somewhat impeded his progress in the industry. Just last week, Andy Dosty of Hitz FM posed the same question to him but he arrogantly said he’s just being himself and not out there to please anyone so he can’t be bothered if people see him that way.
#2. Kontihene
Kontihene, now called Ohene is just like Tinny; a very good rapper whose arrogance has sent his career to oblivion (well to some extent). When he burst onto scene and started winning awards here and there; and was highly tipped o be the biggest thing in future, it probably got into his head and that’s where he started growing wings.
#3. Kwabena-Kwabena
If are you very close to this smooth-singing High-life artiste, you’ll know he’s very arrogant. Well, I don’t need to say much about him!
#4. Shatta Wale
Of course this list wouldn’t be complete without Shatta Wale’s name popping up. I could write a lengthy essay to justify why he’s on my list to which all of you will unanimously agree with me. His arrogance is legendary.
#5. Sarkodie
How many times have we not heard that Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie is arrogant? Dude knows it and his last interview on this subject suggested that he truly wants to work on it.
