The Headies Awards is a music awards show which was established in 2006 by a hip-pop world magazine of Nigeria. It was created to appreciate outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. It can also be called the Hip hop World Awards.
The 1st and 2nd editions were held between 2010 and 2012 at the Eko Hotel and Suites I. Victoria island, Lagos.

2Baba also known as 2Face Idibia was born on the 18th of September, 1975. He was born in a city called Jos which is the capital city of Plateau State, Nigeria. 2Face enrolled at the institute of management & Technology (IMT) to study business administration and management. He however dropped out of school to pursue music in 1996. He released several albums such as Face 2 Face in 2004, Grass 2 Grace in 2006. 2Baba has won 7 Headies Awards so far making him the second highest.
