I will start by not talking about the looks of Kofi Asamoah— Yes!, the brain behind KOFAS Media. Dude is too fine and got one hell of an amazing fashion sense. Anyway, let me delve into the heart of this article already.
Kofi Asamoah has graciously teared into Slik music boss, Mark Okraku Mantey. It looks likes the man is getting a lot of back lash this past couple of days. He had his fair share from the Shatta Wale camp and now Kofas media and others are singing same tune all slammed at him.
A couple weeks or more ago, when the brouhaha on deputy minister for creative rose, Mark made some utterances that did not sit well with a lot of our media folks.
The man claimed he wants nothing or whatsoever to do with the ministry and has already turned down offers from top members in government. He further stated that he does not want to be put in a box.
“My political ambitions would not be destroyed by the creative arts. Anytime someone from our space takes up a position; the agenda is to bring him down and I don’t want people to think that all I can do is creative arts. Don’t box me into creative arts when I can do other things,” he said on Joy FM.
Now that he has been given a post at this same ministry, Kofi Asamoah has hit on him, labelling him a hypocrite. Speaking he said:
“Mark sat on national television and on radio and stated that, he doesn’t want anything to do with people within the Creative Arts. His acceptance to be Head of the Creative Arts now is hypocritical.”
And I am with Kofi Asamoah on this one.
