M.anifest’s performance at the just ended Ghana Meets Naija concert has divided opinions amongst music lovers. Whilst a section of Ghanaians believe he lived up to expectation, others are of the opinion he flopped big time.
In reaction, the God MC rapper said, “You can’t force people to enjoy it one way or the other… you need to focus on the energy and people vibing to the music.
“I think people appreciate me for that… you have to be willing to accept and understand there’s space for all kinds of Ghanaian music and we have to be confident that people enjoy it in different ways.”
M.anifest is highly respected in the rap fraternity and has received massive endorsement from heavyweights in the industry since he made his entry into music landscape. Obrafuor recently labelled him as one of the best rappers Ghana has ever seen.
