Fast rising rapper Kofi Jamar has pleaded with Ghanaians comparing the achievement of young new rappers to that of top musicians in the country saying people should put some respect on their names.

The comes after netizens started to compare the achievement of young and fast rising Kuamsi rapper Yaw Tog to the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy after the official video of his ‘Sore’ remix song hit over a million views on YouTube in just four days.

Jamar said top musicians like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy paved way with many years of hard works for upcoming musicians like them to enjoy what they are achieving today in their earlier stages of their musical careers. So people should stop comparing them to the top musicians in the country.

Stop disrespecting people like Sarkodie,Shatta, Stonebwoy and the likes just because of an achievement made by we newbies. What we’ve come to see and accomplish is been their years of hardworking and consistency. Let’s put some respect on their names plsss
