President of the Republic,Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in his Easter message to the nation has told Ghanaians to be each other’s keeper ahead of the Easter festivities.

Addressing the nation today, Thursday 1st April,2021 as the nation prepares for the Easter holidays, the President said;

“Let’s be each other’s keeper until COVID-19 is eradicated and poses no more threats to our lives and livelihoods.

“Whiles protecting ourselves from COVID-19, I want to appeal to you to do everything possible to reduce the occurrence of accidents to the barest minimum because yearly, it has been tragically a part of the celebration of Easter.”

The president during the address also acknowledged the need for the economy to bounce back immediately to relief citizens of the economic stress and burden.

“I know as a result of the pandemic and its impact on the economy, things are not what we will like as far as the economy is concerned,” President Akufo-Addo noted in his Easter message.
