Fast-rising rapper, Yaw Tog has revealed that his inspiration to do music was sparked by Ground Up’s Kwesi Arthur.

Speaking in an interview on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM, Yaw Tog revealed that he has always aspired to be a footballer but his dreams were shattered when his mother warned him against the profession.

He said that he admired the Tema-based rapper and decided to venture into music. He said that he had always acknowledged Kwesi Arthur as his Icon and inspiration in his music career.

Recall, Yaw Tog won his first award at the 3Music Awards after his song “Sore” won the Hip-Hop song of the Year.

He released the remix of the song featuring his Icon, Kwesi Arthur and British rapper, Stormzy.
