It’s has been established that it’s not every Ghanaian artiste who’s crazy about jumping on a song with Sarkodie.

The rap icon has managed to build an enviable brand for himself which makes him an easy target for a song collabo from his colleagues.

However, Akwaboah, one of Sakodie’s signnes just revealed that his boss was shunned by ace High-life musician, Kwabena Kwabena when he was approached for a collaboration.

According to Akwaboah, the song Nobody’s Business on Sarkodie’s Mary album was meant to be a collaboration between Sarkodie and the Asor hitmaker but the latter refused to collaborate based on reasons best known to him (Kwabena).

He said:

Actually, I wanted Kwabena Kwabena to do this song. I wrote this song for him. I called him several times but he did not mind me.

Akwaboah who was speaking to CiTi FM, added that the sudden turn of event forced him (Akwaboah) to sing the chorus for Sarkodie to deliver the rap.

In the absence of Kwabena, I had to sing the chorus myself for Sark to do the rap as usual.
