A Twitter fan has accused Ghanaian Highlife musician Kuami Eugene saying he cashed out big time during the 2020 presidential and parliamentary general elections.

This comes after the Highlife sensational singer yesterday added his voice to the current trend in Ghana, the #FixTheCountry which has been trending on micro blogging site Twitter for a couple of days now.

The reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Award Artiste of the Year in an interview stated those who are demanding for the government to fix the country must first do their best to fix the Ghanaian Twitter Community before they demand the #FixTheCountry from the government.

Kuami Eugene backing his statement in an interview on YFM stated that the general public enjoy most musicians when they put out they works of songs, but stand to bash them heavily on the social media site whenever they hear a negative news about them.

He added the trolls and the heavy backlash on Twitter need to be fixed before people hit the site to demand for the government to fix the country.

The Twitter fan reacting to the utterances from the ‘Open Gate’ hit maker accused him and Ghanaian top rapper Sarkodie of receiving a huge sum of money from the current Nana Addo led administration during the last elections.
