Winner of Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) Unsung category has been described by popular songwriter and producer Richie Mensah as a 100 per cent authentic artiste. This is because Richie thinks the young chap can record and perform freestyle on any day at any time.
Richie made the compliment during Kuami Eugene’s Boom Bang Bang video launch at the Twist Night Club in Accra. The renowned Lynxx Entertainment CEO said, “There are some artistes who can only record, but when you meet them in person they can’t deliver the same way. But Kuami Eugene is that kind of artiste that everywhere he is, whether studio, stage or walking on the streets, he is 100 per cent authentic.”
I have listened to three singles from the musician and I think if he’s given the needed push, he will be one of the best proponents of Ghanaian music to the rest of the world. He has a very huge potential, trust me.
