Kuami Eugene originally born Eugene Kwame Marfo is a Ghanaian singer/songwriter who was born on 1st February 1997 at Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Born to Mr. Alex Marfo and Mrs. Juliana Marfo, Kuami Eugene had the interest of music at an early age which made him started singing for churches and also learned how to play the keyboard, drum and guitar. He dropped out of school just to be in the recording studio for three months which led to his expelation from school.

In 2016, Kuami Eugene took part in MTN Hitmaker Show, which is a music reality show which he came third place. After the competition he was signed to Ghana’s most decorated record label, Lynx Entertainment.

In 2017, his song “Angela” top various charts shows in the country. In 2018, he released a continuation of the story line in the “Angela” song called “Confusion”. And in June 2018, he released the single “Wish Me Well”, which was in response to the negative comments he received on social media, some of which alleged he was stealing lyrics from another artist Ice Prince.

During the year 2018, Kuami Eugene was named as the Best New Artiste and High-life Artist of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Kuami Eugene also has AFRIMMA Award as the Most Promising Artist in Africa.

At the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Legendary High-life artist Amakye Dede crowned Kuami Eugene as his successor in high-life music.

Kuami Eugene has one studio album titled “Rockstar” to his credit. The album carries loads of heavy hit songs and only features Sarkodie, DJ Vyrusky and Nigeria’s finest Mayorkun.
