The information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has opened up on when the borders of the country will be opened.

The borders of the country i.e land, sea, and air were shut down to prevent the importation and the spread of the Novel Coronavirus in the country. Ghana’s first recorded cases of the COVID-19 were all imported cases forcing the government to order the closure of all entry points into the country to prevent further importation of the virus.

Some Ghanaians stuck abroad have been calling on the government to open the borders so they can fly back home. While others also want it closed to prevent the spread of the virus.

Speaking in an interview with GBC, Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah the Information Minister stated that the government is planning to reopen the borders but still considering the measures on how to contain the virus.
