Member of Parliament for Assin Central Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has escaped an assassination attempt on his life by unidentified armed men.
Reports states that the armed men met the absence of the honourable minister in his residence at Tema.
The nephew of the MP narrated the issue on Net 2 TV explaining that he heard an unusual footsteps but he assumed it was one of the workers. He continued by narrating that upon reaching down stairs, he met the gun men.
Kennedy’s nephew led the gunmen to the room of his uncle after one of them pulled a knife and threatened him.
But upon reaching upstairs, he locked the guy in one of the rooms and quickly started screaming for help. The locked gunman however escaped through the window of the room, leaving the glass broken.
However the member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong is yet to respond to the matter.
