Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, popularly called K.K Fosu used to be a very prolific musician on Ghanaian musical landscape. He used to be the R. Kelly of Ghanaian music in the sense that any song on which he was featured became an instant. This made him one of the most sought after during his era.

However, he suddenly went to a hiatus much to the bewilderment of his huge fan base. He has managed to come back with a single, Am back featuring Sarkodie albeit throwing in a dust of controversies by saying some of the current crop of musicians are ‘wack.’

We actually do not know the barometer he used to measure those musicians he labelled as wack but we understand that any person who cannot perform with a live band is ‘wack’ per his definition. He went ahead to name Ekikime

hit maker Wisa as the first on list.

“Nowadays, the artistes, most of them don’t learn. All they want is to make a hit and I can pinpoint so many of them in business right now. Some artistes like Wisa………they are all wack rappers because they can’t perform with a live band as a singer.” In subtle manner, he claimed Shatta Wale falls in the same bracket but lavished praises on Stonebwoy and Samini saying they are very good with live band performance.

In his trademark boastful demeanour, K.K Fosu said Highlife music has taken a nosedive because of his absence. “You people are saying are saying Highlife is dead. Do you realise how Highlife genre is struggling because I took a little break?” he quizzed.
