Telecommunication network, Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) have introduced an initi ative where customers can borrow money from the company and pay back later.

Well, one disadvantage of this initiative is that once money is sent or deposited into your account, the network takes back their money provided you owe them.

Now, Ghanaian politician, farmer and actor, John Dumelo has recounted how a friend of his fell a victim to this after he surprised him with Momo.

According to him, he once decided to surprise a friend of his with money through his MTN Momo account but received a call from him that he has been deducted out of the amount of money he sent to him because he owed the network.

John Dumelo urged anyone who came across his tweet that it is advisable to ask people you intend to send them money if they owe before doing so.
