Sarkodie is the best thing that ever happened to Hiplife/Hiphop culture in Ghana. He is officially the most successful Ghanaian rapper ever.
His raps skills is second to none. And there’s another thing about him worth noticing. It’s about his confidence or better still his brash ego as his detractors label it.
This is what he showed recently when he said in an interview that he has reached a point where can actually predict the next lines of other Ghanaian rappers as far their songs are concerned.
The Highest rapper made disclosure this during the listening session of singer Akwaboah’s new album, Matters Of The Heart although he admitted his signee, Strongman is the only person who tricks him.
He said:
I deal a lot with rhyming so if you say aboa, I expect you to follow it with akoa.
I have to believe in what I attach myself with and the same thing happens to Strongman. It’s been a while since I heard somebody really rap good.
I rap so if I listen on radio and you say things that I can say.. I’ve rapped to a point that when you are rapping, I can predict your next line before you say it and I’ll be correct.. Oh it is true.
