Billionaire Ned Nwoko has surprised us with his reasons for marrying more than one wife as he tries to justify himself and compare to the north.
Ned Nwoko speaking to BBC Igbo claimed marrying more than one wife saves the economy and also prevents women from joining prostitution just to survive.

Looking at his explanation and reasons for getting married to more than one wife, it’s obvious Ned Nwoko did all that for political reasons and not economical as he claims.
According to him, the northerners who marry more than one wife get to give birth to a lot of children increasing the population in the north whereas the south is small.
The question here is, is Ned Nwoko trying to say he married more wives to increase the population of the south just as the men in the north do without thinking about the welfare of the women and children?
